Mealique helps you plan meals, track nutrition, and build eating plans. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Information we collect
The details you enter — name, email, body metrics, activity level, dietary preferences, and allergies — plus the food, water, exercise, weight, and fasting entries you log. This information is used only to run the app and personalize recipes, plans, and your daily nutrition targets.
How your data is stored
Your account and activity are stored in a secured database so you can sign in and pick up where you left off. Access is scoped to your account: your data is readable and writable only by you. We do not sell your personal data or use it to build advertising profiles.
AI features
When you use AI features — generating recipes or plans, or logging food by photo or voice — the relevant input (your dietary preferences and goals, the photo, or the audio) is sent to our AI service providers to produce the result, and is not used by us for anything else.
Barcode lookups
Scanning a barcode sends only the barcode number to the Open Food Facts database to retrieve product nutrition. No personal information is attached to the lookup.
Your choices
You can review or update your profile at any time from Profile → Body, diet & preferences. You can permanently delete your account and its data at any time from Profile → Delete Account.
Children's privacy
Mealique is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date on this page will be revised accordingly.
